Dr. Susan Wiepert
Dr. Sue is the physician and owner of Purely Pediatrics. She was a pediatric physical therapist prior to attending medical school, graduating from Daemen College in 1993. In 1998, Dr. Sue received a Masters of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under a Maternal and Child Health grant. She worked at Women and Children's Hospital at Buffalo as a pediatric physical therapist before leaving to attend medical school.
Dr. Sue graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2005 with a Medical Doctor degree. She completed a combined pediatric/physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Women and Children's Hospital at Buffalo in 2011. Since 2012, She has been working at Pediatric and Adolescent Urgent Care of WNY in Williamsville, NY as a board certified pediatrician. She continues to work there while growing Purely Pediatrics to continue to serve the children and families of WNY in a dual capacity.
Dr. Sue is also a certified lactation counselor, and can offer comprehensive supportive care to mothers that choose to breastfeed their infants. She is currently a fellow at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine to learn how to effectively and safely weave conventional medicine with complimentary lifestyle strategies to benefit the whole body.
Dr. Sue lives in Lewiston with her husband, Dave. They have two teenage boys, Caden and Caleb. Dr. Sue is a hockey, soccer, and lacrosse mom for her busy boys. The four of them share their lives with their dog, Sandi.
Kathy Jones, LPN
Kathy Jones is a Licensed Practical Nurse, and the Nurse Manager at Purely Pediatrics. She has 13 years of medical pediatric experience specializing in the fields of Pediatric Urgent Care, E.N.T., Urology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Med-Surg. She is passionate and dedicated to pediatric health care. She is excited for the opportunity to work with Dr. Sue at Purely Pediatrics and provide the best heath care for your child.

​Kathy lives in Lake View with her husband Rich, and their twins, Emma and Ryan. Kathy is a Girl Scout Leader and enjoys kayaking. She is a big fan of Disney World and can answer any questions our families may have with regard to the Magic Kingdom!
Taylor Elsner, DNP-FNP
Taylor is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has received a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner training at the University at Buffalo in 2017. He has worked with Dr. Sue at the Pediatric and Adolescent Urgent Care of WNY for many years as a Registered Nurse. He now works there with her as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Taylor brings with him an extensive background in pediatric care, as well as a wonderful personality that is cherished by the children that he cares for. Taylor is a true asset to our team at Purely Pediatrics and we are honored to have him with us. He lives in Amherst, enjoys playing a variety of sports, and enjoys spending time with his family.
